Sincere Millionaires Only: Please Apply!

Remember what I wrote just a few days ago in “Internet Dating or a Matchmaker?” about the Millionaire’s Club, a site that charges men between $10,000 and $150,000 for introductions to women? Here’s another one: the 4M Club (the four M’s are Multi Millionaire Match Making). The 4M site is super slick and flashy, worth a peek if you have time for the downloads.

The Seattle-based founder Chris Stelmack says she will accept non-millionaires, though the guy’s income needs to be at least six figures. Non-millionaires have to pay the same fees as millionaires, though—no sliding fees.  Currently, Stelmack says, all her men are real millionaires. Reassuringly, Stemack says she sreens out players and gold diggers: only the serious need apply.

The business model of the 4M Club is slightly different that the Millionaire’s Club: Stelmack charges men from $10,000 to $250,000, and the women are charged $250 “if accepted after photo approval and a lengthy phone interview.” I’ll bet not too many men OR women are turned down. Just a hundred women signing up would be worth $25,000! The Millionaire’s Club owner said she had 25,000 on file! On the website, Stelmack recorded voice enticingly states that she only accepts 5 men a month. Five at the bargain rate of $10,000? $50,000 smackaroos! Get in line, guys! Time’s a-wasting!

I’m in the wrong branch of the business, for sure. But at least what I do doesn’t make my skin crawl.

Kathryn, this is the owner of 4M Club speaking…please note there is an error in your blog concerning our women clientele…we don’t have 25,000 women on file…but 250 to 300, yes!

While it is a national service, by design it’s considered a small, boutique club…that’s why we’ve had a few marriages and engagements so far…our members receive highly personalized service!

Please make necessary correction, if possible.  Thank you very much.

Chris, if you read my posting closely, you’ll see that I was talking about the Millionaires’ Club with that 25,000.  Not your organization.

i have heard 4m club is a scam.  men and women both have claimed it to be so.

My name is Anita and 4M Club is a waste of time. Ladies, don’t waste your time!

Listen up: 4M CLUB IS A WASTE OF MONEY TIME AND ENERGY.  SAVE YOUR MONEY AND SEND IT TO STARVING CHILDREN RATHER THAN SUPPORT A CROOK.

Hi am Tom an in need for a friend from Australia or the USA
females only ages 27-30
Any race is welcome
thanks
Tom

I think that a lot of women may be disappointed by a services such as these because these services are based on the need of the man.  And of course these men pay for that type of attention.  They choose who they want to meet and the women sit and wait for someone who is interested in them.
So it may not be 4M Club’s fault that women think it is a scam.  Its not a scam but a service for men.

Actually http://www.searchingmillionaire.com is much better than 4M Club. I joined and found many quality members. The price is also reasonable.

Can you tell me why 4M is a crook in your mind?  I’ll listen to your side of the story.  I just want to know why you deem it such.  Examples?  Thank you.

4m, read my posting carefully at the top and you will see that I never say that 4M is a crook.  What I do say is that I am very uncomfortable with rich men paying lots of money to meet (very attractive) women who sign up (and in 4M’s case, pay $250) to meet rich men.  I’m assuming that 4M is on the right side of the law, so go for it, if that’s the way you want to earn your money or spend it.  But it certainly doesn’t seem a big step away from the kind of meetings that Eliot Spitzer lost his job over.

Sorry Kathryn, I was not implying that YOU said that Chris at 4m was a crook.  Not at all.  I was wondering why a POSTER here may have implied that.  I am willing to at least hear why a POSTER here would consider her a crook.

It is “Daisy” who used the word “crook” above.  I HAVE heard “crook” used in reference to OTHER upscale matchmakers.  For example, a disgruntled poster once called the owners of modelqualityintroductions.com as “those crooks.”  If Daisy (or anybody with feelings like hers) is willing to give an example to the best of their comfort as to why they feel that way, I’m always receptive to hearing their side of the story.
I like your Eliot Spitzer reference, even though it’s not a funny situation, and I know that you don’t mean it facetiously.
Kathryn, if you’re comfortable saying, do you think that this may be that closely related to the Spitzer case?  Because a long term relationship potential is what I am looking for, and sexual relations are NOT what I’m in this for.  Thanks again.

Most of the postings here (except for this one and the last four) are a year older or more.  It’s unlikely that Daisy who posted on 05/22 at 05:47 PM is still reading these comments.  Kathryn

So that means that, even if I’m willing to spend some money, this is, or is NOT something to join, if I want a consensual booty call?  I’m not interested in marrying now, and just want to meet women for a consensual booty call.

Deer Kathryn.  I am at a point in my life where I am seriously considering taking a bold risk into 4M Club, b/c while the risk is high, the reward may be too good to miss, if it works that way.  I know that I am the type easiest to take advantage of, b/c of my emotions.  I want you to be as tough on me, with as much gustified tough love, before I go ahead and hand over such mucho dough.  If you want to tell me to go for it, but also want to tell me that I’m probably just going to get a bunch of attractive dates (and possibly sex), but probably no relationship beyond dinners and sex, then I want you to beat me down with words.  Please, be as harsh and firm with me as you need to be, because it’s better that I take harsh criticism from you, than spend mucho dough and be sorry.

Now, those last two comments challenge this Romance Coach.  First to D. Minnard, I don’t at all get the sense that 4M or the like are set up for “consensual booty calls.” Maybe you haven’t heard, but there is a dating site seemingly made for you: http://onlinebootycall.com/  Problem is with sites like onlinebootycall and AshleyMadison.com (for married folks who want affairs) is that they appeal much more to men than women, so you have hugely disproportionate gender ratios, i. e. lots more men than women.  D. Minnard, sounds to me like you willing to pay for sex, and we all know what that means, right?

Now to answer “Be tough with me please,” (though goodness this sounds like S&M;), I have no idea if what you would get through 4M or other such sites would be what you worry about “I’m probably just going to get a bunch of attractive dates (and possibly sex), but probably no relationship beyond dinners and sex” or something more permanent.  I guess that’s the risk you take with any date, whether you pay big bucks to get it or not.  I wonder what’s going on with you that you are not able to get good dates that could eventually lead to a long term relationship without paying lots of money?  Sounds like you could use a Romance Coach to help you figure out what could help.  Let me know if you’d like to talk.  I’d be much more able to give you good advice if I knew more.

Kathryn

Deer Kathryn.  The reason why I probably don’t get dates on my own much, is b/c I’m not in many good right situations to meet women.  No dating co-workers.  I’m not looking for the “booty call” as D. Minnard said above, so I’m certainly not looking in bars.  I think fear of rejection is why I don’t take more chances.  But if 4M or a like matchmaker can do the leg work for me, and I think it’s fair that I pay an honest expert to match me, that’s why I’m at least receptive.

I would have to agree that model quality introductions is a scam, the owner is running an escort agency rather then a matchmaking firm. I used their service, paid the $25000 membership cost and got to meet only two women both of whom were not model quality, I am very found if a site called viviansguide.com, they offer a boutique
matchmaking agency and allow you to search thier entire database of pre-screened women for a low monthly fee, they have a selection of over 2000 women to choose from. I would advise anyone going to any of these high priced matchmakers, do your homework first so you don’t get scammed!
